Fun and engaging writing activity!

I completed this activity around Halloween with my grade 2 and 3 class. I love this product because it was super easy to differentiate for all of my learners. After the pandemic I have a wide range of abilities in my classroom and I found this product very easy to accommodate appropriately for everyone. The students loved being able to create their own monster before determining how to catch it! They were able to use certain character traits that they had created to attract their monster. One of my favourite examples was a student's monster loved hockey so they used Connor McDavid to lure their monster into their trap! Great activity! Highly recommend!
